In accordance with the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users , all new electronic devices have a legal guarantee of 2 years . According to the Huawei guarantee , which specifies the term as 24 months , the rights of the consumer of its products are limited to those expressed in Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, which includes the Consumer Law, without granting additional rights.

What does the Huawei warranty cover?

The Huawei guarantee provides for the free correction of any lack of conformity that is manifested in the device during the time stipulated by the legal guarantee. For this, the manufacturer will proceed to repair or replace the product. Huawei cautions in its warranty that, as a manufacturer, it cannot return the money paid by the buyer to the seller.

To exercise the rights contemplated in the Huawei guarantee, the consumer must contact the seller, the official technical service of the brand or a Huawei customer service center .

Lack of conformity

What is meant by lack of conformity? There are 3 circumstances contemplated by which a consumer may present a lack of conformity with a product, that is, that he is not satisfied with the contract:

1.Lack of conventionality because the product does not conform to the description made by Huawei in the documentation accompanying the device.

2.Lack of conformity as the product does not materially perform the functions described in the documentation.

3.When it comes to a product whose use involves the installation of software and said software, the instructions provided by Huawei for its installation have always been followed, causing the product to lack conformity.

Costs and documentation

During the time that the legal guarantee lasts, the consumer will not assume any cost derived from the repair or replacement of the product. When a replacement occurs, the delivered device becomes the property of Huawei.

The entire process of executing a warranty is documented by the manufacturer. When the consumer delivers a Huawei product for repair or replacement, they receive a documentary justification with the delivery date and the lack of conformity it presents. Once it has been revamped or replaced, a document is also delivered with the date of receipt by the consumer and the repair that has been made, if so.
